Henry Jones didn’t find his wisdom in a boardroom; he forged it on the front lines of the human experience. From his beginnings as an Original Freedom Writer—a journey captured in the film Freedom Writers—Henry has consistently chosen the road less traveled, transforming a life of survival into a global mission for reconciliation.

His authority isn’t just academic; it’s authentic. As an ICF Accredited Coach with a license in executive coaching and an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner, Henry’s true mastery lies in "The People Business," something that extends beyond coaching. Whether it is using his decades of experience to teach self-defense at California Baptist University or using his license in Christian Leadership to give words of hope to kids in the neighborhood, Henry continues to mirror the actions of his mentor, Erin Gruwell, in that a rising tide raises all boats.

A tide that has taken Henry everywhere from the halls of Congress to working with Americorp, and to international relations in Bosnia-Herzegovina as an ambassador for tolerance to the victims of the Bosnian genocide. 

Henry has had a chance to be stewarded by the words of world-changing thought leaders such as the late Civil Rights leader Senator John Lewis, social icons like Harry Belafonte and Oprah Winfrey, and groundbreaking storytellers like Diane Sawyer and writer/director Richard LaGravenese. 

Through his company, Discussion Park, LLC, Henry now seeks to expand the sustainability of his message by releasing several books, coaching tools, and culture shifters this year, including a line of children’s books, faith-based novels, games, and even a clothing line.

Henry remains a grounded advocate for mending our broken parts and missteps. He believes that true transformation doesn't come from a polished script, but from the grit and grace found in the struggle. Henry Jones is more than a storyteller—he is a fellow traveler and a change agent, proving that when we master our internal landscape, we finally build a world we can be proud to inhabit.
